Dr. Niwa is a pioneering clinician in the study of oxygen radicals and SOD. He began his research in the 1970s - earlier than anyone in the field - and continues today to regularly publish his latest findings in these esteemed medical journals. He has:

• regularly published his research papers on the protective properties of SOD in ‘Blood’.
• served as a member of the thesis committee for ‘Biochemical Pharmacology’.
• presented papers in various medical journals on the physiological and biochemical effects of far infrared ray at home in Japan and abroad.

The Niwa treatment was admitted, and published in international cancer technical journal "INTEGRATIVE CANCER THERAPIES" in 2012.

Dr. Nagase has earned much acclaim for his research achievements. Through both Dr. Niwa and Dr. Nagase’s deep mutual respect for one another’s work and professionalism it was a logical next step that they undertake joint studies.
